The Chamber offers a wide range of opportunities through which you can pursue your personal and business interests. Members are encouraged to take part in our volunteer committees dedicated to promoting business in the communities we serve. New and existing members are welcome to attend committee meetings. Government Affairs Committee
Government Affairs Committee Consists of board and general members. Shall recommend public policy statements to the board and track legislation at the state, federal and local levels of government. This committee will also conduct candidate interviews and process the legislative endorsement process. The Government Affairs Committee meets the second Thursday of every month from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Chamber Headquarters.

Local Government Committee
This committee was designed to help the Chamber network more closely with local elected officials to discuss land use issues that impact the business community. We also address taxation and infrastructure build-out issues as well. The Local Government Committee shall recommend policy statements to the board whereby the board will address the issues with the media and membership. The Local Government Committee meets the third Wednesday of every month from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Chamber Headquarters.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for coordinating the membership and retention functions for the Chamber. This committee will monitor membership activities, host new member receptions, organize the annual membership drive and help staff and board with the retention issues. The Membership Committee meets the third Tuesday of every month from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Chamber Headquarters.

The Women-In-Business Committee is a professional Chamber organization of women who network through specific program opportunities designed to educate, inspire, and enhance business skills and maximize your membership in the Chamber. The WIB also host an annual Women-In-Business dinner.The WIB Committee meets the first Thursday of every month from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Chamber Headquarters.

Young Professionals
NEW to the Chamber! The Chester County Young Professionals, the only one of its kind in our county, is a new group created in 2006 to provide networking opportunities for young professionals under 40 in the area.
