1. Log in to the message board
2. Find the topic area that most closely matches what you need and click on the topic link.
3. To post a new message, click on the blue and white "post" button in the upper left corner
   • Fill in the topic (subject line) and body
   • Include your signature file (you can copy and paste from your email signature saved in your email program)
   • Click on "preview/post message" at the bottom of the right-hand window and then on post if you're satisfied
   • Hit your browser's back button if you wish to edit before posting

If you don't receive messages in your personal email inbox, you'll need to log in to the message board
• Click on "+" to expand the topic you're interested in
• Click on "Reply/Quote" or "Reply"
• Click in the "Message body" area and type your response
• Click on "Post"

Message Board Rules

Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with these important guidelines. If you have questions, contact CCCBI. CCCBI reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership on all lists for members who violate these rules.

• Use caution when discussing products or vendors. Information posted on the message board is available for all to see, and all comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws.
• Messages should not be posted if they encourage or facilitate members to arrive at any agreement that either expressly or impliedly leads to:
  • price fixing,
  • a boycott of another's business, or
  • other conduct intended to illegally restrict free trade.
• Messages that encourage or facilitate an agreement about the following subjects are inappropriate:
  • prices, discounts, or terms or conditions of sale;
  • salaries;
  • profits, profit margins, or cost data;
  • market shares, sales territories, or markets;
  • allocation of customers or territories; or
  • selection, rejection, or termination of customers or suppliers.
• All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal materials are strictly prohibited. Do not post anything in a message that you would not want the world to see or that you would not want anyone to know came from you.
• Do not challenge or attack others. The discussions on the message boards are meant to stimulate conversation, not to create contention. Let others have their say, just as you may.
• Do not post commercial messages. Contact people directly with products and services that you believe would help them.
• Please note carefully all items listed in the disclaimer and legal rules below, particularly regarding the copyright ownership of information posted to the list.
• Remember that CCCBI and other list participants have the right to reproduce postings to this message board.

Internet Etiquette (or, "Netiquette")

• Post your question in the most-relevant topic area.
• When you are the person posting a question, be sure that you entitle it with a good, concise, explanatory title in the subject line.
• When replying, use the reply/quote feature or at least copy and paste part of the original question into your email - otherwise, readers may not know which question you're responding to.
• Always remember to include a full "auto signature" block at the bottom of the messages you post so that other subscribers will know who you are and how to reach you directly.
