Hoover Financial Advisors PC Adds Paraplanner

Malvern, PA – Philip A. Gagliardi recently joined Hoover Financial Advisors PC as a paraplanner. His appointment was announced by Peter K. Hoover, CFP, founder of the independent financial advisory firm.
Paraplanning is a relatively new subset of the financial planning industry. Gagliardi’s primary duties include report preparation, allocation model creation and various administrative functions. Prior to HFA, Gagliardi was a trust officer with Charles Schwab Bank in Wilmington, Delaware. Before that he held a similar position with Wachovia Bank in Wilmington.
Gagliardi has a master’s degree in taxation and financial planning from Widener University, Chester. He earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting at Cabrini College, Radnor, where he was captain of NCAA men’s lacrosse team. The Drexel Hill resident is currently training for an Olympic Ironman Competition.
Hoover is celebrating his 30th anniversary as an independent financial advisor this year. After graduating from Shippensburg University with a finance degree in 1981, he established his independent advisor credentials at Ostrom & Associates in King of Prussia, PA. He launched HFA in 2005.
In addition to Gagliardi, HFA employees include client relationship managers, financial planners, insurance and income tax specialists and an information services manager.
