Members sustain the development of our Chamber by investing or participating in the various events and activities that make up our Signature Events. Aside from our many legislative and networking events along with workshops and seminars, The Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry holds five major annual events each year: the Annual Dinner, the Small Business Dinner, the Business Expo, the Women in Business Dinner and the Annual Golf Tournament.
Annual Chamber Golf Classic
The Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry’s Annual Golf Tournament at Applebrook Golf Club is a prestigious event where you will enjoy the opportunity to golf with a select number of our area’s top business leaders. The event provides an excellent and substantial opportunity for members to entertain prospective and existing clients in a healthy business environment while contributing tothe growth of business in our region. The tournament is open to every level of golfer and offers an invigorating day of business networking, socializing and sporting fun. The day ends with cocktails, award presentations and a surf-and-turf dinner with an exquisite view.
Annual Dinner
The Annual Dinner takes place each year on the breathtaking grounds of Longwood Gardens. The event draws together business and community leaders to celebrate the Chamber’s successes of the past year, looks ahead at the future plans of the organization and recognizes the change of leadership at the Board of Directors. At this event the Chamber also honors its CEO and Citizen of the year awardees.
Business Expo
The Business Expo is a one day trade show that brings together buyers and sellers who provide products and services integral to business in the region. With hundreds of exhibitors andvisitors, it’s the ultimate market place for businesses in Chester County.
Business Mission
Business Missions to foreign countries area great way to experience a different culture and learn about business practices and opportunities.
They are intended to:
- Expose attendees to global opportunities
- Provide experience with different culture(s)
- Establish relationships with other attendees
- Provide safe and comfortable environment for those who might not travel individually
- Educate you on other countries success / failures
Recent business missions have included a trip to Dubai and a visit to the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Details will be released soon on the next location.
Foundation Auction Gala
Annually the Chester County Chamber Foundation hosts a Spring Auction Gala. This “must attend” event grows in popularity each year. It is a wonderful evening filled with fun, food and friends. Our guests enjoy a mouth-watering menu in addition to exciting auction items. There is something for everyone and something in every price range from raffle tickets to vacation homes and airline tickets. The money raised at this event will fund the programs of the Foundation as well as the Bob Thompson scholarship fund. Please join us for a fun filled evening.
Small Business Dinner
The Small Business Dinner is designed to celebrate the spirit of free enterprise in Chester County. Each year the Chamber honors it’s Small Business of the Year, which is acompany that epitomizes the true meaning of entrepreneurship, leadership and success. It is a company that took significant risk, yet achieved substantial commercial success while remaining active in community service. Other Awards given that evening include the J. Larry Boling Excellence in Government Award and the Green Business Award.
Women-in-Business Dinner
The Women-in-Business Dinner celebrates the accomplishments of female business leaders in our community. Hundreds will gather to network and dine as the Chamber honors it’s Female Business Leader of the Year.
