Malvern, PA – Peter K. (Pete) Hoover, CFP® is among the top independent financial advisors in the U.S. chosen to attend the 2011 Cambridge Premier Club Conference, which was recently held at the Marco Island Marriott Resort, Golf Club and Spa in Marco Island Florida. The conference is designed as a reward for top producers to not only enjoy recreational activities, but to learn and network, as well.

Hoover achieved both Platinum and Silver Levels for personal and branch business development. Fewer than 10 percent of Cambridge member advisors qualify for Premier Club status. There were 110 representative/advisors at the conference this year.

Hoover received continuing education credits during the conference. Premier Club attendance is one of the most coveted honors in the independent broker/dealer channel. The local financial planner has been repeatedly awarded in the past. Last year, he was named by Goldline Research and seen in Forbes magazine as one of the 2010 Leading Providers Wealth Managers of the Northeast. Early in his career, he was a Certified Planner of the Year in the local chapter of Institute of Certified Financial Planners (ICFP) and has appeared on Worth magazine’s best financial planner in the U.S. lists three times.

Hoover is celebrating his 30th anniversary as an independent financial advisor this year. After graduating from Shippensburg University with a degree in finance in 1981, he established his independent advisor credentials at Ostrom & Associates in King of Prussia. While there, he helped found the local ICFP chapter holding positions of president and chairman during his membership tenure. Before founding Hoover Financial Advisors, PC in 2005, he was with American Financial Group. As an independent financial advisor, Hoover has no proprietary ties to any products or funds. “Because we have no conflicts of interest, HFA counsel and strategy are based on individual goals, needs and financial circumstances,” says Hoover.

HFA Employees include client relationship managers, financial planners, insurance and income tax specialists and an information services manager. Securities are offered through Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., a Broker/Dealer, a member SIPC and FINRA.
