Grand Opening Event Introduces New Technology in Auto Body

3D Blue Carpet Gala kicks off opening of new 3D Auto Body & Collision Centers’ 30,000 Square Foot Facility

Press Release | March 28, 2017
3D Auto Body & Collision Centers held their grand opening event called the 3D Blue Carpet Gala, on Thursday, March 16th 2017. The new, high tech facility is located at 1029 Conshohocken Road, Conshohocken, PA and is now open to the public.

This event marked the official opening of the largest Symach auto body facility in North America. Over 300 guests joined owner David Niestroy, at this full day, open house celebration where demonstrations of the innovative repair process were performed. To date, the shop is fully operational and employs technology that dramatically reduces drying times for paint, primer and body filler from almost an hour down to seconds with the paint fully cured in less than a minute. 3D Conshohocken can yield a 50 percent increase in touch time, a 25 to 30 percent reduction in labor cost and market disrupting cycle times with superior quality.

“This project would not have been possible without the help of our partner paint company, PPG, and their tenacious efforts to perfect the paint formulas for this new paint drying process,” Niestroy said. “Some damaged vehicles can take up to a month or more to repair, while in other parts of the world vehicle repairs are completed in days and operate their facilities 24 hours a day 7 days a week. As an industry, we need to provide a faster, more cost-effective repair for our customers.” 3D Conshohocken has its sights set on giving customers the highest quality workmanship with a “no excuse attitude.” We are Driven, Dynamic, and Dedicated.
